Scottish Widows: Budget commentary 2011 – 23 March 2011

The 2011 Budget will be delivered by the Chancellor on Wednesday 23 March. On the day of the Budget Scottish Widows will be providing our initial summary findings, highlighting financial planning implications for you and your clients.

In the meantime you can access Scottish Widows dedicated Budget micro-site, which includes our analysis of the impacts of the 2010 Autumn tax updates and the planning opportunities arising.

In the 2011 Budget the Chancellor can review and change tax rates. The Budget will also provide an update on the state of the economy and public finances and sets out the direction of the Government’s economic policy for coming years.
